EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Make music with us at Hidden Valley Music Seminars. Big band players gather to participate in rehearsals and performances under the guidance of a seasoned professional conductor/teacher. The week will be filled with inspiring musical sessions and culminate with a big band dinner dance. The skill level of enrolled participants will guide repertoire selections. The conductor will tailor his approach to the rehearsals to participants’ skills and interests.

• Expert conductors offer pointers and constructive critique during group rehearsals.
• Join in small ensemble free-lancing during the non-rehearsal periods.
• Delight in a chance to perform with fellow Road Scholars, culminating a week of rehearsals and camaraderie.

Program Notes

Repertoire will be selected at the beginning of the program in order to accommodate the number of participants and their skills. Women-only in the chorus week.
