See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Experience an unforgettable bicycle journey through the rock spires, buttes and canyons of Southeast Utah. Discover Cedar Breaks National Monument, Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. Awe-inspiring, breathtaking — these words describe the dramatic rock formations and colorful canyons of Utah's Canyon Country.

Highlights

• Spend two days bicycling and hiking in the unique, rugged landscape of Bryce Canyon National Park and two days in magnificent Zion National Park.
• Bicycle through Cedar Breaks National Monument, then into Red Rocks Canyon on a peacefully winding paved path.
• A rest day in each national park affords opportunities to learn from park experts about this geologic wonderland of spires, arches, amphitheaters and hoodoos created by eroding water and wind.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.

Activity Notes

Quality 24-speed hybrid-style bicycles are provided including back rack and small pack. Bring bicycle helmets, water bottles, optional panniers, bicycle clothing and wind-rain-sun protection. Participants may bring own bicycles if approved in advance. Participants may also bring own seats and/or pedals if desired. Bicycling average 40 miles daily at elevations from 5000' - 7000'. (increased mileage opportunities available). Rolling hills, easy to moderate climbs, some steep, on paved national and state park roads/highways with moderate traffic. Hikes up to 4 miles to arches and special features compliment the rides. Must demonstrate good biking ability; proficiency/safety test is conducted.
