Be there with Road Scholar as the Metropolitan Opera unveils its new production of Wagner’s “Der Ring Des Nibelungen.” These epic dramas combine mythology, philosophy and psychology with soul-stirring, dramatic music (the “Ride of the Valkyries” perhaps being the most famous segment) and are considered by many to be the pinnacle of operatic literature. The Metropolitan Opera production by visionary director Robert LePage claims to be the most ambitious production in Met history.

• Attend all four operas of Wagner’s “Ring” featuring world renowned Wagnerian singers and conductor.
• Enjoy an expert-led, behind-the-scenes exploration of the famed Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center.
• Learn more during background lectures and special presentations exclusively for Road Scholar participants.
