In the magnificent Rocky Mountains of Colorado, tackle challenging hikes to stunning peaks while you learn the geology, ecology and history of Colorado’s most scenic trails. Choose the basecamp that best suits you, from the remote and rugged Pingree Park to the historic mining towns of Ouray and Crested Butte, the “Wildflower Capital of Colorado.” Trek through extraordinary Rocky Mountain wilderness, including lush forests, flowering meadows, alpine tundra and rugged peaks. Discover the wildlife and natural history of these unforgettable landscapes from expert naturalists and geologists.

• Choose your program date by your preferred basecamp, hiking from Pingree Park, Ouray, or Crested Butte.
• Hike historic mining trails and traverse mountain passes as experts reveal the most interesting geological features of the Rockies.
• Learn expert hiking techniques like light packing and high-altitude acclimatization, and develop leadership and teambuilding skills on these challenging treks.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.
