Wyoming's Rocky Mountains provide a perfect setting to study advanced nature and wildlife photography. Explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks pursuing themes of wildlife, spectacular thermal features and dramatic seasonal color. With the seasons in change, the weather can bring brilliant sun and/or showers and snow; photographic opportunities abound, giving a menu of light, mood and artistic expression.


• Survey the amazing scenery of Grand Teton National Park and hunt for a photographer's favorite location.
• Improve nature photography skills with expert field instruction in digital techniques and film technology.
• Discover the unique geothermal features and scenery of Yellowstone National Park, with exciting opportunities to capture the dramatic landscapes and fauna.

Program Notes

Bring camera equipment, batteries, and tripod.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.

Activity Notes

Walking 1-3 miles daily on varied terrain. Elevations of 6,000-9,000.

This program will include a visit to world famous Earthfire Institute (www.earthfireinstitute.org) for intimate viewing and photography of wildlife including wolves and other large mammals. Grand Teton National Park will only be visited on last full day of the program.
