Program #9394ENZ
7 Days | 6 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Program intended for grandchildren from 10 - 16 years of age.

How do you get to Cooperstown? Practice! Or you and your grandchild can take an unforgettable baseball odyssey to the Hall of Fame. Hear stories from a former Negro League star, get on-field tips from a college coach and get an insider’s look at a Major League Baseball stadium, complete with a major-league game.. Also take in several minor-league games and see future major-leaguers playing in the Little League World Series.

Highlights

• Meet former Negro League player Johnny Wilson Sr. and hear about his experiences.
• Explore a beautiful major-league stadium with a staff member, and then take your seats for a game between two major-league teams!
• Roam the streets of historic Cooperstown, then meet baseball’s heroes in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Program Notes

All game times, teams and hotels on days 2-5 will be listed under the "Daily Schedule" once game schedules are released in February.

Activity Notes

Walking up to one mile, all on even terrain.
