EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Living Life with Psychological Disorder
Instructed by Alicia Nordstrom, PhD. Participants will learn the major features of psychological conditions with a focus on how they affect people’s daily lives. The conditions highlighted include eating, mood and anxiety disorders as well as child disorders such as ADHD and autism.

The American Short Story
Instructed by Marianne Strong, MA. We will examine classic stories whose focus is American history and culture; stories such as: Hawthorne's New England in "My Kinsman Major Molineux," Chopin's New Orleans in "Desiree's Baby," Jewett's New England in "Poor Joanna," Twain's and Crane's west in "Celebrated Jumping Frog," and "Blue Hotel” to name a few. Finally, your instructor, with her own stories, will take you a literary tour of Northeastern Pennsylvania's landscape and events.

Oncogenes: Bad to the Bone
Instructed by Frank DiPino, PhD. Cancer is a genetic disease. In normal cells, genes control when and if cells in the body multiply. These “good” genes can become altered to become defective “bad” genes. The accumulation of good genes gone bad results in immortal rogue cancer cells. Frank DiPino, PhD
