Road Scholar
Program #18370RJ
12 Days | 11 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Description: The Printania Hotel is located directly on the seafront, near the local beaches and with views across the Rance Estuary to the old walled city of St Malo. Each of the hotel bedrooms are individual in style and size, all retaining the original charm and character of a past era. The hotel is full of original decor and artifacts which only enhance the atmosphere of the establishment. As soon as you set foot in the foyer of the Printania you will discover a warm atmosphere with regional furniture and a fine collection of Henriot Quimper porcelain. At the Printania you can enjoy breakfast in the terrace conservatory with its hundred-year-old palm trees dating from the Colonial Exhibition in 1906. Relax in the evening in the lounge, decorated in the style of Napoleon III, with a piano for guests. Discover a varied collection of paintings by regional artists as you walk around the corridors of the Museum Hotel, including etchings by Patrice Morvan, and frescoes by Jim-E-Sevelec in the dining room.
