Road Scholar
Program #20134RJ
17 Days | 16 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Start of Program
Jan 18, 2015
Melbourne, Australia. The program commences with the arrival of the group flight at Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport.
You will be staying at the The Swanston Hotel Melbourne, Grand Mercure that night.
Location: Melbourne
Nearest airport: Melbourne International Airport
Transportation to site: The easiest and most direct way to get from Melbourne Airport to the first hotel is by taxi. The signage in the airport will direct you to the taxi rank. The fare to the hotel will be approximately AU$60. Alternatively, SkyBus offers an express bus service from the airport to the city centre. This service operates 24/7, including all public holidays. Buses run from every 10 minutes throughout the day. The adult fare is AU$18 one-way. Tickets can be purchased on arrival at the bus stop. On arrival at Southern Cross Station in the city, SkyBus provides a complimentary hotel transfer service, subject to availability.

End of Program
Feb 1, 2015
Sydney, Australia. The program ends after breakfast on Day 17. Participants on the group flight are then transferred to Sydney Airport.
You will be staying at the Mercure Hotel Sydney Airport the night before.
