All-day arrivals at the Juan Santamaria International Airport in San José, Costa Rica. Hotel check-in starts at 3 p.m.
You will be staying at the Hotel Boutique Jade that night.

Nearest airport: San José International Airport (Juan Santamaria)
Transportation to site: Taxi services are available at the Juan Santamaria International Airport. There are taxi and car rental booths in the baggage claim/customs area of the airport where one can reserve and prepay for these services. Additionally, San José's standard red colored taxis can be found parked outside the airport exit. Services can be paid in U.S. dollars.

You will be staying at the Sarapiquis Rainforest Lodge the night before.

Nearest city or town: Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui
Transportation to site: Participants will depart at 6:00 a.m. from Selva Verde Lodge on Day 10 for a 2 to 2 1/2 hr transfer to San José. There will also be a 9:00 a.m. transfer to accommodate later flights. Please do not book your flights to depart from San José any earlier than noon.
