I heartily agree with Barbara's assessment. I only want to add that she was one of the most interesting participants in the group and we all benefited from her impromptu presentation on marine biology!

If you want to meet the people who are worldwide leaders in seabird conservation, acquire an in-depth knowledge of what they have learned, and work side by side with them on islands off the coast of Maine this is the right program for you! This is a rare opportunity to be with scientists of the highest quality, who also are wonderful teachers and really nice people too.

This program is right for you if you want to step out of your comfort zone and participate in something truly amazing, have moments of meaningful comprehension about the natural world, and be revitalized as a person.

This is an excellent service program -- provided us with a broad spectrum of expertise, worthwhile service work and wonderful field trips on a converted lobster-boat -- and plenty of birding time.

Had great time on our first Road Scholar trip. Instructors were knowledgeable and fun. Other guests were pleasant too-interesting group. Food great, accommodations somewhat rustic, but we expected that.

Web site is buggy and frustrating to use. I would have given more feed back, but it would take too much time.
