Road Scholar
Program #19218RJ
5 Days | 4 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

attended june 17 program in chicago--first off, the hotel location is great ! right across from trump tower , in the middle of the city. it was a cute , little hotel called club quarters right on Wacker blvd. there were 20 some of of us. nice size group.

we had breakfast catered in to us, oatmeal one day and eggs the next ( rotated .) usual sweet stuff etc. we ate out every day lunch and dinner.

lunch was more or less snacking in the various ethnic neighbor hoods but we had a nice dinner , down town usually. those of you that dont like polish, beef, german type food , will not appreciate the lunch snacks.

if we were going a long distance, we had a nice bus, bath room and all , but the short hauls , we were in a school bus ! which was hard on OLD backs. ( ha)

this is a very informative trip about the side of chicago that's not down town. we had the usual afternoon off on wednesday for free time. no dinner that night but free entertainment in millinum park and some of us got tickets to a play.

any other questions, bahamm2005@msn.com ( no spell check on this so excuse typos !)

This was my first trip alone since my husband passed away earlier this year I was quite nervous about going and about how I would blend with the participants. Everything went well, met all nice people and very glad I took this trip.
