This trip one of the best I have taken with Road Scholars. The subject matter was interesting and informative. The leaders "outstanding". Can't say enough about the "food". Over and beyond my expectations. Ken and Arlene were excellent hosts and could not have done more to accommodate the group. I would "highly" recommend this excursion.

Attending this program fulfilled a long-standing dream of mine as a reader of literature of the period, viewing "The Age of Innocence," and reading "The House the Rockefellers Built." Enjoying the Fall Colors was a bonus!

I just got back from the Hudson River Valley tour of mansions. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this trip is! From the location of where you will be staying (The Warwick Center which looks like the setting for WHITE CHRISTMAS with Bing Crosby and Rosemary Clooney!!) to the mansions themselves, you will be taken care of royally during your entire stay. The meals are stupdendous and the organization of the trip is first rate. The staff cannot be better. You will be so lucky if you sign up and have this experience of a life time!

Mansions of the Hudson River Valley is like walking into a bygone era. Through slides, anecdotes and lively discussion and lecture one is well prepared to tour each mansion and actively participate in the tour guides programs. It is different than just walking through a marvelous structure in that you are versed ahead of time by the program to really know what it must have been like to live then. The beauty of the countryside is just the cherry on top of the cake!
