What a fabulous way to learn about New York, its' history, present, and future plans. Tour as if you're a New Yorker with the help of your talented guides.

If you are curious about New York City but have been intimidated by its size, this is a great program to introduce you to the city and some of its many different neighborhoods. You will learn how to get around in the subway and will become familiar with a city that is truly friendly and full of adventures. If you like to walk, this is the way to go. After attending this program you should feel secure enough to venture on your own.

Nothing can substitute for visiting NYC to learn about this unique city. I came away with a very positive impression about how much New Yorkers love their city and how involved they are in making it better.

Wonderful Program and terrific knowledgeable and personable guides – spent first 38 years of my life in NYC and saw and learned so much more of NYC in those 5 days – pace is fast yet enough stops to renew for what is next - glad I didn’t miss any of the optional evening adventures – sorted and put my pictures on a shutterfly “share” site – if you care to see them – send me an email at patand2@msn.com and I will give you the link

Great program. I would skip the Morris Jumel Museum. I grew up in NYC and never walked across the Brooklyn Bridge, visited the Merchant's House or walked along the Central Park Reservoir. The guides were great. Be prepared for lots of walking. One of our group had a pedometer and told us we walked about 8-10 miles a day. Don't skip the waffles and chicken in Harlem, the deli sandwich in the Lower East Side or the breakfast in Brooklyn. You'll need to walk off those calories.

This program truly gives participants a glimpse into some of the "hidden treasures" of NYC. Even if you have been to NYC before, I bet you will find something new here! It was active, fun, informative and well organized, with just the right amount of free time. Tons o' fun!
