If you are looking for a relaxing and informative week in one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of the Midwest this is a trip for you. Door County not only has a diverse ecology the diversity and quality of the artisans in the area is unequaled. If you enjoy a good play or browsing art exhibits or cooking with classically trained chefs this is definitely for you. All these artisans make their homes in Door County because they want to. Many have worked very hard and risked much just to be able to stay up there.

This was the perfect time to see Door County. We got to experience things we wouldn't have been able to if we'd just been there on our own. The activities were plentiful yet we were given time to explore on our own. Kit was SUPER with suggestions of what to see and do. This program you could make as active as you wanted. Thanks Road Scholar for offering this.

Kit Donahue was one of the best Group Leaders we have had in Elderhostel/Road Scholar programs we have attended. She made each individual in the program feel that they had her as a personal guide. Great leadership qualities along with a great sense of humor.
