Joan & Lee were wonderful guide and driver. I felt safe with Lee at the wheel & informed with Joan's first hand commentary about life growing up in the area covered. Trip details were seen to and this was a stressless trip. I would take another trip with Joan & Lee.

We enjoyed the program very much. What a beautiful state: people, places, geography & geology. The Dinosaur National Monument was a favorite.

Traveling the byways of western Colorado is indeed a remarkable and interesting experience for anyone who would like to learn about the sights, sites, geography, history, peoples, and resources of that beautiful state. It was fun not to travel on the interstate expect for the ride back to Denver on the last afternoon.

This program is interesting and well planned to include the best and most amazing parts of beautiful Colorado from the plains to mountain communities. We were amazed to meet local residents and hear their stories told with enthusiasm for the areas where they choose to work and live. A life long resident of Colorado, I learned many new things about my state.

Betty from Phoenix, AZ Number of programs attended: 25? Date attended: 07/19/14-07/26/14 I thoroughly agree with others who have written about this trip. Beautiful scenery, informative and interesting leader Joan, very efficient bus driver Lee, well organized, variety of hotels and places to eat. There were many opportunities to interact with the locals. The scenic byways and small towns were delightful!

Kathleen from Pasadena, CA Number of programs attended: 6
Date attended: 07/19/14 - 07/26/14
Really enjoyed this program. The itinerary was varied and far-reaching, the educational component was exceptional, the scenery was magnificent, and the leaders, Joan Fields and Lee Dahl, are a fantastic team. Their knowledge, experience, enthusiasm, planning (and driving) skills, and delightful personalities made this a great week on the road learning about Colorado, its past and present, its people, customs, environment, accomplishments and challenges. Especially enjoyed our interaction with the very friendly people they introduced us to along the way, and the delicious home cooked and organic farm to fork meals we enjoyed.

Georgia from Pomona, CA Number of programs attended: 35

There are not enough superlative words to describe this trip. Our leaders, Lee and Joan, are wonderful in all respects. This trip is a chance to see a very veautiful part of our country and learn about not only the geology, but the way people lived over many centuries and even now.

Thomas from Pasadena, CA Number of programs attended: 6
Date attended: 07/19/14 - 07/26/14
This highly educational tour features incredible scenery on relaxing low traffic roads.

Robert from Naples, FL Number of programs attended: 5
Date attended: 06/21/14 - 06/28/14
Marvelous mountain, valley, and high plains scenery with lots of education besides. It was so much more relaxing to be enjoying the views from a comfortable motor coach with lots of room than to be driving a rental car and having to watch the road constantly. A great adventure.

Dick and Carol from Williamstown, NJ Number of programs attended: 64
Date attended: 06/21/14 - 06/28/14
This prgram in Colorado exceeded our expectations with Joan, our group leader, who shared her love of her state with us. We saw lots of snow capped mountain rnages, rivers bubbling over rocks, lush green valleys some with vineyards, and a waterfall hidden away behind grazing cattle, sandstone cliffs at Mesa Verde and much. much more. Book this one!
