EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

The light house tour of the Chesapeake Bay and our leaders were more than I had anticipated. The biggest treat was the two plus days on the water. We also had the short sail on a Skipjack, a type of crabber used in the Bay. Volunteers from our group heaving to hoist the sails. We also had the opportunity to approach the Chesapeake Bat Bridge from the water to get an astounding view. One of our leaders, Diane, taught the group to "pick" a crab to find the sweetest meat. This trip was a winner.

If you like lighthouses, being on the water (2 full days on Chesapeake Bay), and great seafood, you'll love this program. Beautifully run, and small group of 20 makes it easy to get to know and interact with other participants. An in-depth tour of the Maryland Archeological Conservation Laboratory is a special treat. Highly recommend, and would do again.
