always wanted to check out Maine, this program offered the chance. It was organized and I thought for the amount of things they scheduled and the people we met it was a fantastic week

Acadia National Park- A beautiful place, with a grand history. We were fortunate enough to spend 5 days in Bar Harbor, ME and the Park. We Kayaked on the harbor, saw eagles and porpoises, lunched on an island and discovered sea glass. Biked and hiked in Acadia, strenuous but fulfilling and rewarding, a certain esprit de corps developed upon accomplishments completed. Paired with the history of the area and the unusual way Acadia became a National Park, it was a most rewarding, physical and intellectual exercise.

I absolutely loved the multi sport program. There was something totally different to look forward to from one day to the next! I look forward to another multi sport program!

Sharon from El Prado, NM Number of programs attended: 4
Date attended: 06/22/14 - 06/27/14
This was a fantastic trip. The program delivered exactly what the description promised. Our program leaders, Bill and Glen, were funny, knowledgeable, and all around enjoyable to spend the week with. The variety of activities and the weather, even the rainy bus day, made this trip one of the best we have taken with Road Scholar.

Sandy from Loveland, CO Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 06/22/14 - 06/27/14
This multi-sport program was great! We enjoyed all the activities, even our rainy day bus ride around the island. Leaders were personable and speakers were knowledgeable. We appreciated the flexibility of the group when things deviated from the schedule.

Lucy from Sunrise Beach, MO Number of programs attended: 22
Date attended: 06/22/14 - 06/27/14
This was an interesting trip with beautiful scenery and a variety of activities. The leadership was excellent with lots of fun. Multi-sport programing was changed to meet weather conditions. It was moderately challenging, but anyone in good physical condition could enjoy things a little out of their comfort zone.

Charles from Greenwell Springs, LA Number of programs attended: 7
Date attended: 06/22/14 - 06/27/14
The program requires activities, kayaking, mountain hiking on granite ladders, and hill biking that would be most enjoyable if the participant had experience in these activities before attending.

Dominick from Richmond, KY Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 09/08/13 - 09/13/13
A well lead, well organized program that provides a variety of activities. The experience levels of the folks in our group were broad, but the activities were designed so as to be within reach of the novice and to present a challenge to the experienced. The program, as advertised, does require that you be in decent physical condition. On occasion you will need to peddle hard uphill, dig deep with your paddle, and clamber up hill over rocks. But you will find a no more magnificent setting to become one with.

This was a great trip. It was my first experience with Road Scholar, and I'm looking forward to more. The hiking, biking, and sea kayaking were wonderful ways to see the park. The guides were great and worked with all of the participants' different levels of activity to make sure everyone had a good time.

We just completed our first Road Scholar adventure at Acadia National Park. It was the multi sport hiking, biking, and sea kayaking adventure. This was the first one ever offered in July and it could not have been a more enjoyable experience. Even with fog every day, Coastal Kayaking Tours of Bar Harbor did a fantastic job in providing an educational, fun, and energetic advernute. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

Karl from Minneapolis, MN Number of programs attended: 7

For the multisport program some might get stretched, needs to be open and flexible to actively participate in each, even when one does not exactly fancy each activity due to likes and dislikes, physical ability, etc.

Great trip, lots of fun!
