Program #21415RJ
7 Days | 6 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

A superb program, with its magnificent New England setting and many very intriguing historic sites of interest. The best RS/EH program that I have ever undertaken, augmented by outstanding planning and organization.

This program is historically significant and greatly diversified in its presentation. Our group leader was outstanding in all respects. My husband and I gained more knowledge and experienced more beauty than we had anticipated. Well done!!

If you love gardens, this tour is one you will really enjoy. We happened to be at the peak of the peony season which was a nice bonus but the gardens are truly lovely and very different one from another. The farms were nice too--sustainability is the word, as has been at these farms for many years. Lots of pretty moo-moos; we learned about cheese making at one farm and butter making (with a swing churn) at another. The houses are steeped in history and I enjoyed this tour more because I read about some of the people before I went.
