Our grandkids really enjoyed this program. Grandparents enjoyed it too. There were lots of activities that kept all of us just the right level of busy. The choice of activities was chosen to show young teens and pre-teens many of the things the planners thought would be most interesting to them. It was a hit.

This was the very best Intergeneration trip I have been on. My granddaughter, age 13 and I enjoyed every venue and all of the history and other information provided by our expert leaders. My granddaughter especially enjoyed Alcatraz, The Golden Gate Bridge, and all she learned about SF.

Great view of San Francisco in a short period of time. Our group was small which allowed great interaction between grandparents and grandchildren. Lots of walking and riding public transportation. Educational and thoughtful talks with National Park personnel when we visited the Balclutha, Pt. Bonita lighthouse and the Nike site. There have been some adjustments as to timing and daily activities to future trips based on some logistic problems we incurred. California Academy of Sciences was very interesting and informative. Behind the scene tour along with fast pass to exhibits expanded our understanding of our world. Chinatown walking tour provided a good perspective on immigration to USA and the problems associated with one of the most crowded areas of the City. Overall a great program with a variety of experiences.

A fabulous overview of SF in 4 1/2 days! You could not get this experience on your own. It is very chilly, though and be prepared to walk uphill.

This tour was a lot of fun with a good quantity of education tucked in. We saw some fascinating things at the Calif. Academy of Sciences, visited a Nike missile site and heard a sobering history of the Cold War from an Air Force veteran. The Alcatraz tour was very interesting. Had a nice variety of good San Francisco food.

Especially loved the visit to Alcatraz, the CA Academy of Sciences (great museum), and the Nike Missile site.

A great bonding experience with grandparent and grandchild with appropriate activities for both

This was a great trip. My grandson and I enjoyed every day's activities. The group was fairly small (8 kids and 11 adults) which was good in the large city environment. Going to Alcatraz was the highlight of the trip for my grandson. Walking across the Golden Gate Bridge was quite an experience. This was our 7th trip together and every one has been a great experience.

San Francisco by the Bay with the grandkids was amazing. Fast paced and interesting. We did not miss much. In four days we walked 31 miles and are still smiling -

Viewing the sights of San Francisco with all the travel details efficiently arranged in advance: very enjoyable. Getting access to behind the scene tours at the Museum of Science and information from Park Rangers not available to the general public: even better. Spending quality time with my 13 year old grandson who was having the time of his life: Priceless!

My wife and I were most pleased with the program. Our granddaughter loved it and we enjoyed seeing her experience and learn so many new things. We hightly recommend this intergenerational opportunity in a wonderful city.

A great program. My 13 year old granddaughter and I enjoyed our time here very much. We were kept busy and learned a great deal. Cable cars, walking the Golden Gate Bridge, National Parks in the Bay area, Fisherman's Wharf, China Town, the California Science museum, we did it all!
