Program #2832RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Enjoyed Seattle. Location of hotel was great, within walking distance to many sites.

Seattle in the summer is a piece of paradise, warm and sunny. The people are friendly; there is lots to see and do, and it's very easy to get around in the city. The Warwick Hotel was centrally located and close to everything one needs to see in Seattle. Our program director was wonderful. This is a "must do" trip.

Everything is included in this program. I attended with a friend who now lives in a different city and since all the logistics were taken care of (hotel, airport transportation, food and field trips) we flew to Seattle and had a great time together seeing this beautiful city. In our free time, we went to Bainbridge Island on the ferry and she met up with an old friend for dinner while I went to the opera.

"Seattle: Signature City of the Pacific Northwest," was stimulating, informative, and fun. There is much to learn and experience there. The sites are extremely interesting and the history is thought provoking. I believe there is something for everyone to enjoy. Oh yes, did I mention the food? It's a foodies delight!

I am convinced that life long learning keeps "Third Ågers" young at heart and mind with careful selaction related to health, time, money, and location. This is my 38th Elderhostel and I would recommend it tp anyone but it has to be their choice. I will be giving a program on Road Scholar this fall to our Retired Educator's group.

Seattle Signature City is a great program. I saw more and learned more about the city than my granddaughter who has lived there for 2 years. I loved telling her things that I learned during the program.
