This program was well planned and just the right amount of time. I was pleased that we were able to try different restaurants and the local seafood. We were fortunate to see so many of the ponies. My one regret is that I didn't buy a Misty book, but I will call the museum and order one.

my childhood dream was to see these horses-the rest just added to the experience

Harriet from Norfolk, VA Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 05/11/14 - 05/14/14
This program is set in an interesting part of the world, with its own values and way of life. It is led by knowledgeable and friendly members of the community, and you will learn a lot about the history, resources, and unique qualities of a small, largely still rural, seaside island!

Best of the Best of the 14 RoadScholar Programs I face taken! Pristine Atlantic Beach, wild horses, decadent ice cream, fantastic seafood, outstanding local folk music (by the ThreeSheets), a salty world-class decoy carver and salt water cowboy, a knowledgeable good old girl Wildlife Refuge tour guide, and two wonderful coordinators Bill and Cindy who got songs and accolades from the Road Scholars at the end. In only four tightly packed days. Don't miss this one.
