Wonderful program. Two excellent historians and Group Leader. Even the bus driver was outstanding. Great bunch of people and a very interesting and thorough program. Read Undoubted Courage and then sign up for the trip.

Although my husband and I are not Lewis and Clark history buffs, this trip was wonderful. We took the trip for the travel through all the eleven states it covers and to our surprise, have now become thoroughly entranced with the story of Lewis and Clark. This was a beautifully run program and every day was interesting and enjoyable.

This is an excellent program from start to finish. The leaders were knowledgeable on every aspect. Tom Laidlaw is a fantastic guide with an abundance of knowledge of the Corp of Discovery. And performs the tasks with costumes and attitude of the Corp. Shannon was very patient, especially with me, my hat is off. Our bus driver proved to be amazing in a number of difficult driving situations, great personality as well. We had a number of individuals with physical limitation, but they handled the trip with great perseverance. Be prepared to pack and go several times.

The Lewis and Clark program is an excellent learning experience coupled with the opportunity to visit eleven states. With veteran leaders and interesting participants the trip is a lot of fun. Highly recommended. Book early because this program always sells out.

"Following in the footsteps of Lewis and Clark" is a trip we will treasure as one the BEST experiences with Road Scholar!!! The 17 days exceeded our expectations with every need being met! The excellent guides (Mary Jean, Tom, Roger, George, Ritchie, Deb) the journal information, the interpretive centers, the motels and food, listening devices, the monitors and the library onboard the bus...all enhanced the trip. Even snacks and naptime! Well done Road Scholar!!!

This was my favorite Road Scholar trip. Excellent sites, leaders and fellow participants contributed to the fun and learning. Months after the trip, I'm still repeating stories I heard from local historians. The trip gave me a much better understanding not just of the Corps of Discovery, but also of the native Americans they met along the way. I highly recommend this trip.

Yes, this was an amazing journey both for us and the corps of discovery 210 years ago. To actually see the areas they went through, be there, while listening to their story along the way was great. The leaders of this group were able to set a light hearted and fun atmosphere in which to learn and enjoy and bring our group together in a very positive way. So happy to have had the experience.
