I really enjoyed this bike trip. The trails were superb, and all were paved except the Hiawatha Trail. The Hiawatha Trail is SO much fun with all the tunnels and trestles. The scenery along the way was beautiful and we seldom biked near traffic. The accommodations and food were very good and the leadership excellent. Rick and Ken work with the participants to give them the best trip experience, whether it be riding WITH the wind, or DOWN the hill instead of up. I highly recommend this trip.

Hiawatha "Rails to Trails" is the ultimate cycling experience. Entire biking trip had beautiful scenery, exquisitely maintained trails, differing environments every day, knowledgeable guides, and friendly participants. Options for longer or shorter rides every day. Full-service Wallace Inn located w/in walking distance of historic mining town. Perfect trip.

Cycling the Idaho Panhandle was exhilarating. Every day was different with unique vistas and trails including lakes, rivers, tunnels and trestles! At the end of the day we returned to our same lodging which was a treat. It was a great adventure of learning and cycling.

Beautiful country in the Idaho Panhandle. Easy riding with downhill grades or flat with little elevation gain. the tunnels are cold and dark and interesting to ride thru. Riding over the trestles gives you a view down over the trees. Be prepared to ride in rain on some days. Bikes are comfortable, bring your own bike bag and tools to make any needed adjustments on your bike. Bring along a headlamp to ride thru the long 1.7 mile tunnel.
