I loved this trip. As an avid bird watcher I was thrilled to have Nan as group leader. Her knowledge allowed me identify 60 new birds! Her enthusiasm was contagious. I also think this trip is a good one for beginning and intermediate birders because Nan really works with every participant at their level.

This was a wonderful experience. As already said, Linda was a terrific leader and Nan can't be beat for enthusiasm and top spotting of birds. I especially liked that we were able to get close to many of the birds and had plenty of time for photography. My one disappointment was not getting close (or good shots) to the whooping cranes. I also took the Rio Grande trip the following week and did not get anywhere near as many good photo shots as on this trip. Even though listed as moderately challenging, it did not find it at all strenuous.

Great program! Linda and Nan provided a delightful learning experience. We visited a nice variety of habitats and got close looks at many exceptional birds. Some of the best birding I've done.

This was a wonderful experience. Linda & Nan were wonderful. I was able to add many birds to my life list as well as learn a lot. I highly recommend this tour if you've never seen the birds of coastal Texas.

This program should appeal to both new and experienced birders who wish to see a lot of birds and increase their knowledge of the sport of birding.

Carolyn from Lake Oswego, OR Number of programs attended: 6

This birding trip is the BEST. Nan, the birding guide, is superior and Linda, the coordinator, sees to everyone's comfort.

Nicki from Boulder, CO Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 03/16/14 - 03/21/14
I am a novice birder and I identified over 130 birds! It was a complete delight. The program leader and the bird guide worked together like a charm. I reccommend this program to everyone. It was not strenuous. Loved it
