The program was absolutely great--the museum was fantastic and the hotel was wonderful. But grandparents should be forewarned--you will be sleeping in your clothes in a very confined space and with toilet facilities outside the sub. So be prepared!

Martha from Kerrville, TX Oh my goodness! This was so much fun! My granddaughter smiled the whole time, as did I. Was a little nervous about the submarine but it was just fine. Our guide, Hella, was terrific with the kids. And the "stop traffic, lay down on the bridge pavement" was just the kind of thing that made the kids and grandmas all giggle together. An action packed couple of days.

I could not have planned a better trip for me and my 12 year old grandson. The program was extremely interesting and informative. He couldn't wait to tell his parents and younger brother about sleeping in a sub and examining real dinosaur fossils.

What an exciting adventure for young "scientists" and their grandparents! This program has it all, including a once-in-a-lifetime sleepover in a submarine, and plenty of time to explore the wonders of Portland's gem, the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.

Terry from Clovis, CA Number of programs attended: 4
Date attended: 07/16/14 - 07/20/14
The educational opportunities and diversified exposure to new experiences are absolutely high-level on this program. The titled sleeping on a submarine piece turned out to be our least-favorite part even though it was what attracted us to the program. That was an experience we are glad we had, but won't repeat. Everything else in the program was better than expected and definitely worth doing again! The hotel and meals were excellent.

We loved it! My grandson loved the jet boat ride and the hands-on activities. I enjoyed the submarine tour and sleeping in the sub. We had bottom bunks which had more air. OMSI is amazing!!! Time there was so much fun. The kids had hands on labs and free time to explore. Fun! Fun!, fun!,,
