Program #20663RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

What a wonderful week in Santa Fe. The variety of topics chosen by Road Scholars, the knowledge of the presenters, the places we visited, the excellent restaurants, the hands on experiences in cooking and art, all wrapped in the amazing history of the area.

What an enriching experience this week was - it left us hungering to return to Santa Fe and to the Southwest in general. Outstanding variety in topics, delivered by outstanding presenters; cooking lessons, art lessons, anthropology, history of the area, and especially access to places and Indian artifacts not open to the public. Meals were outstanding; laughter and awe of the area abounded.

We had a wonderful girls trip with Road Scholar as our guide. We learned so much in varied expression from history to cooking to art and so much more. Fantastic facilitation.

Santa Fe, The City Different, was the perfect spot to escape from the snow, ice and/or rain and sleet that held the participants captive in their own cities this winter. We enjoyed cool temperatures, bright blue skies, beautiful art, great food, fun activities and soaked up lots of culture - a perfect winter break.

Lee from Trotwood, OH Number of programs attended: 34
Date attended: 02/19/14 - 02/24/14
If you like art and want to be surprised at how interesting the southwest can be, take the Santa Fe program. It's outstanding!
