1st program with Road Scholar and I couldn't have asked for more. Enjoyed the educational experience of both the Queen Mary and Catalina Island. Laurel was excellent as a group leader as well as the company of all those whom attended. Had a wonderful experience and plan to use Road Scholar again. Thank You~

This was the first of what I expect to be many Road Scholar programs. I really enjoyed the lectures and the free time to explore the Queen Mary. It's been years since I'd been to Catalina, now I'd like to go and stay for several days. Well-paced program and very good group leader.

This program provides an enjoyable overview of the history and beauty of the Queen Mary and Catalina Island. Great structured educational content as well as free time to explore on your own.

The Queen Mary/Catalina Island program met all of my expectations. Although I've lived in California for over 50 years, I'd never visited either location. As always, speakers were well informed and entertaining, with very interesting topics. Good times, pleasant and friendly participants, great group leader.

Loretta from New York, NY Number of programs attended: 3 Date attended: 10/05/14 - 10/10/14 On this Road Scholar program you'll go back in history as a guest on the Queen Mary Hotel docked in Long Beach, CA--with excellent speakers to guide you through its art deco venues. Then, after ferrying "26 miles across the sea" you'll glide into the Avalon harbor of Catalina Island with its famous Casino where some of Hollywood's legends once roamed. Program director, Laurel Howat did an excellent job--attending to every detail.

David from Walnut Creek, CA Number of programs attended: 8
Date attended: 05/18/14 - 05/23/14
This trip was well worth the time and expense we spent enjoying it.
