Independent Quebec City is a wonderful program in a beautiful setting. The mix of history of the city and region and the current day situation with regard to politics and structure of the government complement the musical and museum opportunities.

This program proved to be beyond my expectations for the brief time that our group was together. Our guide, Andree, was knowledgeable, gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend the Quebec City Independent City Discoveries Program.

This particular program, Independent Studies, is a perfect introduction for anyone visiting Quebec City for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed the lectures, the tours, the food, the free time and most of all...the wonderful group of people with the tour.

I really loved The Independent City Discovery Tour which had just the right mixture of morning talks and discussions and exploration. Of course having a wonderful leader like Andre who was always knowledgeable, sociable and welcoming enhanced the trip at every level. Andre was always available and extremely helpful in making suggestions for activities for our independent time. Her commitment to ensuring our good time went beyond her call of duty and this enthusiasm and availability enhanced the trip enormously. Florence Tager, Brooklyn, N.Y.

Under the cheerful, savvy, energetic, elegant guidance of Andree our Road Scholar leader, we spent four fantastically interesting days. The morning lectures taught us all about the Quebec history, politics, health and educational systems. Each and every person in the group was so delightful I hope I will meet them again on my next Road Scholar trips because I am so totally enchanted by this organization that I already peruse their big book full of promising wonderful adventures. A wonderful and enlightening trip to a European styled village right here in North America. Tremendous history, excellent arts and incredible foods. A definite must add to your "bucket list".
