EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

exceeded my expectations

A gracious RoadScholar leader, inspired and informative presentations, interesting walking tours, plenty of free time to explore a beautiful and historic City, and croissants everywhere. What more could one ask for? This trip does involve a fair amount of walking and stairs, but the "moderately challenging" activity level may make it sound more difficult than it is. We have done hiking and biking trips with this RS rating that were more physically demanding. This program is a gem!

There isn't a better way to meet new people while learning about Quebec City. We had a wonderful time - learning, walking, exploring, and seeing a new city that has so much to offer! The accommodations were very comfortable; our fellow travelers were interesting and friendly; the food was great, and we enjoyed all the walking throughout Quebec City. It's a great place to explore on foot.

A marvelous, well-balanced and well-led tour in an absolutely lovely and interesting city.

This program is outstanding. It provided the perfect blend of informational activities, organized time, and free time. Accommodations and meals were wonderful and suggestions for activities and meals during free time were right on. Our coordinator was delightful, making each participant feel special while helping the group as a whole work together. I learned more than I ever expected about Quebec and tasted the best croissants I've ever had (even in Paris)! Lots of walking included, thank heavens.
