We highly recommend Road Scholar's Intergenerational program to the City of Lights. The outstanding guides, program itinerary and the attention to detail make Paris come alive.

The intergenerational experience in Paris was outstanding! Being with my granddaughter in Paris under the tutelage of Fred Vignot was beyond my expectations. It will rank as one of the best traveling experiences I have ever had. Fred has the gift of knowledge and the ability to make everyone on the trip a cohesive unit-engaged in not only sightseeing but caring for each other.

What a wonderful way to share the sights and sounds of Paris with my granddaughter! Brigitte and Fred were the perfect duo to lead us during this fast-paced, energetic program - the days were filled with high energy level activities that left us all (kids included) tired when we finally quit after being on the go for 12-13 hours! It would be difficult to select one thing that made the trip so fantastic - it was that way from beginning to end!

My granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to paris-7/10-7/17. Tour guides Brigitte and Fred couldn't have been better. They were very caring and knowledgable. It was a nice mix of activities. Giverny was so beautiful and the lights on the Eiffel Tower were gorgeous! A trip never to be forgotten!

It was indeed moderately challenging. Hot temperatures. We loved the trip. Louis and Romi were great guides. Helpful and informative and increased my understanding for this lovely city. The French lesson the first day was fabulous. It really helped tremendously and was surprisingly helpful. The audio equipment a wonderful tool to hear the lectures. I loved the way we used the metro system. Feel that I could do it on my own now. It was also great to live in the Marais district. Central and full of interesting sights. The games for the kids, e.g. the market questions engaged them greatly, which was a delight. The trip to Giverny was one of the highlights for my granddaughter and me. What a treat. At the time I was thinking that I would have liked Ana to have been a little older. Now, when I heard her talk about the trip, I realize that she learned a lot and is very articulate talking about her experiences. A few suggestions: 1. The dinner the first evening took too long, as did many of the meals. And yes, I understand that is the French way of eating. Louis mentioned a couple of restaurants he did not want to revisit and I agreed at the time, but can't remember which ones they were. 2. It would have been helpful to me to have some type of a name game over dinner the first night. Participants generally did not wear name tags and it was more awkward to talk to them not remembering their name. 3. Romi's lectures were enlightening but at times a bit too detailed. 4. The hotel elevator presented a problem by frequently being out of order. Obviously out of your control. I want to thank both Louis and Romi for their personalized attention and care. They created an amazing experience. Heida Brenneke and Ana Clarkson

Our intergenerational trip to Paris not only introduced us for the first time to a beautiful city and taught us so much, but also gave us the chance to get to know our grandson so much better. My husband and I will never forget this trip and, over the years, we will all look back on it with joy.

Wonderful trip! Gave it 5-stars, but be aware it is very intense, not for a disabled grandparent (there are few esculators in the Paris Metro). The small size was perfect. We had eleven 14-16 year-olds who were on the run constantly (one day was 14 hours straight). The tour is "once over" the major high lights in Paris. The Group avoids long lines for the museums and the Eiffel Tower. The home visit, the bakery, the ballet and even the Metro were confidence building for young travelers. Fred, the instructor, is a French high school teacher who knows how to handle 8th & 9th graders especially well. We also met the group leader for the younger kid tours who was a primary school teacher and quite impressive also. I was a solo grandfather on our tour, and it worked out well for a grandfather to take a grandchild alone. We stayed an extra Sunday to visit Versailles on our own which I would recommend to all as a "must" extension. I recommend the trip highly.
