I have attended two golf programs this year...one in Georgia and the other in Sedona. Both were more exciting than I ever imagined. The two experiences...my first time around...have convinced me that Road Scholar will be high on my list of travel adventures and i will be reaching beyond just golf programs.

This was my first Road Scholar program, and I had high expectations based on the program description and reviews from previous participants. I have to say that this week in Sedona was so much more than I hoped for, and a big part of that was the quality of the accommodations at the Hilton's Sedona Golf Resort. This truly was a learning vacation, and I would do it again just to be there.

The Sedona Golf program was outstanding. The course and setting were magnificent and the accommodations were the best that I have had on a road scholar program. This trip blends golf with other local tourist options. Unfortunately, I was unable to hike locally this time, but there are many of those opportunities nearby

Beautiful setting. The October weather was pleasantly mild and the fall colors were in glowing. This was our first trip to Sedona. We enjoyed the community tour on the trollye with a driver who seemed to know everything about Sedona. The golf courses were well-managed and beautiful. The dining venues were tasty with a good variety of meal choices. Richard Stephens did a great job of keeping on-track and on-time. The visit to the Sinaqua ruins was interesting as well as the musical entertainment and expert evening program presenters. I liked the balance between scheduled activities and free time (to allow for sightseeing, hiking and shopping.

Excellent Golf instructors. With my improved swing I won the Turkey Shoot upon returning home. The Sedona area is unmatched with its unique beauty. The new friends and associates brightened up my life!!! Hope we meet soon again somewhere along life's road, critters and all! OOXX

A great program in a beautiful area. A good blend of golf and seeing/learning about the Sedona area. Actual golf lesson time is limited. Another great group of fellow participants.

The Oak Creek course is not for beginners. but if you are willing to pick up your ball and drop it again on the green, you can still keep up the pace of play and enjoy the beautiful course. Plan on staying a few extra days to enjoy Sedona hikes and atmosphere. October weather there can't be beat.
