Road Scholar
Program #4022RJ
4 Days | 3 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

This was our first Road Schoolar program. It was better then I had ever expected. The people were all interested in the subject, they were fun to be with, and the whole experience was fun and a wonderful change of pace.

Difficult to get to - a four hour drive from Albuquerque, but absolutely worth it. Both the tours of the Canyon (north and south rims, and the canyon itself) as well as immersing oneself in the history and culture of the Navajo Nation.

An inspiring program with excellent learning from Native people plus access to the truly beautiful and sacred Canon de Chelly. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best Road Scholar trips I have been on. I would recommend this experience to anyone.

The three day program in Canyon De Chelly provided a wonderful overview of the Canyon and the Navajo people. It made me want to come back for more!

Norbert from Eau Claire, WI Number of programs attended: 13

My impression of the program was that everyone should experience this 'cultural' diversity and history.

Kathleen from Nathrop, CO Number of programs attended: 2
Date attended: 09/30/12 - 10/03/12
Don't miss this one. The trip coordinator, Azalia, is one in a million. Spending this in the Navajo nation was a priviledge. Dennis & Kathleen Claveau
