Our visit to Chattanooga was all that we expected. My grandson had a wonderful time and made friends immediately from all over the country. He enjoyed all of the activities. It was great having a swimming break every day. I met some very nice grandparents and enjoyed watching the kids. I did learn a lot about Tennessee and the railroad and went places I would not have gone on my own.

First time my grandson and I attended an Intergenerational and we both loved it!!! Lots of varied activities, free time at the pool for making new friends and bonding, beautiful scenery, educational time at the Challenger Space Center, and a top-notch co-ordinator, Carol Burton, who just loved all the kids. Can't wait to find another one next summer.

My grandson liked this trip and thinks it is good for ages 9-15. I was so impressed with the quality that I have told all my friends about Road Scholar. Perhaps the best praise is that my grandchild can't wait to do another trip!!!

Just returned from an amazing week in Chattanooga with our 10 yr. old granddaughter. Our hotel provided comfortable bedding, nourishing meals, excellent location - never had to move our car once parked, and a pool that kept the grandchildren happy during free time. Activities were plentiful and kept the attention of both the adults and children. Carol Burton, coordinator, was exceptional. Her enthusiasm, organizational skills, and knowledge of all we saw kept interest high. Would highly recommend this program for both girls and boys. The adult night out, while the grands overnighted at the aquarium, was a nice plus.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed the activities and learning experiences about the Chattanooga area that we shared with our 9 and 12 y/o grandchildren. Time for the children to interact with each other at meals and in the hotel swimming pool was valuable to all.

I would definitely recommend this program to anyone. It was great fun for the grandparent and grandchild as well. My grandson Jon and I really enjoyed the week and hated to see the program end. Our group leader Carol Burton was fabulous!

SueB, VA. 6th RS Experience: This was our 2nd program with coordinator, Carol Burton. She switches from adult to "grands" program with ease & just loves her intergenerational program. The 17 grands, ages 8-13, melled within the first 2 hours and became a cohesive group for the entire 5 days. The grandparents had sufficient time to become acquainted. The itiniary was well planned & good length for the grands attention spans. By the morning of the 2nd day our grand was asking Carol if she would be doing this again next year as he was having a great time.

I attended with my 10 year old grandson. We had a fabulous time. The activities were all very well done and interesting to us both. Rock City was beautiful and the Aquarium fabulous. Even the weather cooperated (not too hot). It was the perfect way to spend a week with my grandson. Loved every minute.

Our first intergenerational program. A very nice way to visit with our grandson. A very important part of any program is your fellow participants. It is clear Road Scholar attracts interesting people. Chattanooga is a great city for balanced family experiences. Our tour leader brought that extra element that showed us what is so nice about the South.

This program was outstanding, with a variety of activites that cover some Civil War history,World War two history, train and carousel history, and an informative hands on activity at the Challenger Space Center. The highlight was an overnight sleepover at the beautiful aquarium for the children. And the most important of all, a very knowledgable and well prepared guide, Carol.
