6 Days | 5 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Great program for mid elementary kids! Well organized activities to satisfy old and young! Can't beat the island scenery and history! Relaxing time for grandparents, as well!

While I always want my grandchildren to have a great time on their intergenerational programs, I also want them to have new experiences and to come away from the program with new knowledge. This program provided all of these things. The two girls had a great time while learning and enjoying new experiences. The field trips around Amelia Island, to Cumberland Island, Jekyll Island, and the Okefenokee Swamp all provided new adventures (seining in the ocean, shrimping, visiting the turtle hospital, seeing alligators, and spending time with a Civil War reenactor). The grandparents learned some new things too!
The accomadations for this program were excellent and our coordinator, Tom Murray had a wealth of information about the region and the culture.

"Come along for a shrimp trawl on a real shrimp vessel, The Lady Jane. Boat into the Atlantic Ocean where you will seine for shrimp or for whatever comes up in the nets. We always bring up a few shark, stingrays, shrimp and all kinds of fish. Your guide on-board will tell you all about boating and shrimping. Boat trip is about two hours long. " Uploaded By: Bobbie
