The Biltmore House seen in candlelight at night and the next day in daylight were the highlights of the tour. At night it is difficult to see clearly but the ambiance is pleasant. Donna Marie Todd was outstanding, presenting a comedic skit, and Bobbie Pell, entertaining and informative in her presentation of Victorian poetry and music. Righton McCsllum was very good at giving us the historical context for what we saw. The greatest negative was the food. The holiday dinner at Deer Park was disappointing and the quality of the food at Montreat Inn was school cafeteria quality. As a whole, it was a pleasant but not outstanding way to spend the holidays.

The program was very informative. I enjoyed all of it and recommend it to everyone. I had a great time and very much looking forward to the next Road Scholar trip.
