Worthwhile projects, interesting guides and participants, nice accommodations and good food, outdoor exercise and opportunities to learn something new - it had all this, and was fun too.

One of the best programs we have attended.

This was a neat little week, bookended by a cool lunar eclipse at the beginning and a close view of moose from the school parking lot at the end, highlighted midweek with purposeful work on the open Wyoming range and an overnight in dreamy lakeside cabins, and spotlighted with occasional, exciting wildlife sightings. And working together along with enthusiastic leaders helped to form bonds of friendship all around.

What makes Road Scholar trips so special for me is the people and this trip was no exception. From the Teton Science School Leaders, the speakers and docents we had and the other RS participants, we were surrounded by delightful folks dedicated to enhancing and enjoying the beautiful Wyoming wilderness. This trip is a nice balance of work, education and play. You really feel like you're making a contribution while having a fabulous adventure. We'll be back!

This was my first Road Scholar trip! It is certainly NOT the last! What an experience....loved every mimute of it. It felt so good to be on a working vacation--helping the environment with other dedicated travelers. Thank you TSS for making us feel so welcome!

Great experience, not terribly challenging. But we removed Hundreds of yards (my estimate here) of barbed wire and hung plastic clips (thousands?) at the top of many wires to prevent injury to wildlife. Pretty cool to see the moose as well.

This was a service class that leaves you feeling good about the work accomplished. Improving habitat (including building bird houses)while learning more about moose, oil & gas effects on wildlife, and population pressures provided a good combination for the week. Would recommend this to anyone desiring to help wildlife and the environment.
