Beautiful, comprehensive watercolor instruction! This was a superb class for all people wanting a watercolor class. We covered so much in the 2 weeks - we painted in several locations outside - waterfalls, lakes and bogs! The instructor was the best I have ever had and I have taken many watercolor classes! The group was limited to 12 participants making the learning experience almost a one on one instruction. Optional additional evening sessions were offered and a field trip to a local art museum. AWESOME 2 week experience - I will take this one again!!!

Taking this class was one of the best experiences of my life. I had never taken an art class before. The instructor made learning sketching and water color easy and fun. As a retired instructor, I appreciated that she was very organized and had a set curriculum that she followed. We had a mixture of activities in the classroom, outside in the lovely Treehaven grounds, and field trips. Our class consisted of beginners, more experienced amateur artists, and even a retired art teacher. Everyone learned at his or her own level. Our instructor helped each individual at the level he/she was at. She suggested special projects for the more advanced students while helping us beginners to learn the basic skills. We all walked away with some nice watercolor paintings and lots of knowledge. Even the more experienced artists said they learned new things. This was a wonderful value, lots of fun and very educational.

Spend a delightful 2 weeks in the northwoods, painting, sketching and drawing, with field trips to beautiful waterfalls and guidance in plein aire painting with a small group.
