Enjoyed being a tourist in my own state. The Christmas decorations in and around San Antonio were beautiful. Staying in the historic downtown hotel was very convenient. The motor coach used on two of the tour days was modern and comfortable. Great learning experience at the historic sites: LBJ ranch and Steve's home. San Antonio Art museum was one of the best fine arts museum I've seen.

This program is a wonderful way to experience San Antonio. We enjoyed the Crockett Hotel with a bonus of being across the street from the Alamo. Another highlight was our day trip to Fredericksburg and a tour of the LBJ ranch.

This is a really enjoyable and interesting program. It's quite varied -- historical sites, the beautiful river walk, LBJ Ranch, a town with a German heritage, and interesting food in different settings. San Antonio is beautiful at holiday season!

THE TRIP TO SAN ANTONIO WAS GOOD BECAUSE IT WAS WELL PLANNED. IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT MUCH THOUGHT AND RESEARCH HAD BEEN DONE. HOTEL, FOOD, TRANSPORTATION, SITES TO BE SEEN WERE WELL THOUGHT OUT. 40 OF US, A FULL HOUSE, REALLY BONDED AND ENJOYED EACH AND EVERY DAY. OUR LEADERS WERE OUTSTANDING. SO HAPPY I COULD PARTICIPATE.

This was my first trip to Texas and it far exceeded my expectations. The city was beautiful, clean, safe, full of things to do and see. The history was so interesting and I enjoyed just seeing the countryside. And there was a nice surprise!!! I plan on seeing more of Texas!

Very comprehensive and interesting all at once. Much more than I could have imagined. Activity level is moderate, true to description. Definitely need to be able to do stairs.

THIS WAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY THE CULTURE IN THIS PART OF THE UNITED STATES AND TO LEARN MUCH ABOUT THE HISTORY AND HOW IT HAS AFFECTED OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MEXICO.

For a magical experience that will enhance your holidays, consider the San Antonio Lights Festival in December. I went because my mother went some years ago and loved it. She was right! You'll also learn some Texas history presented in a fascinating, accessible manner by skilled tour guides and lecturers. The art museum and WW II Museum are so well done.
