This was a wonderful trip--variegated, educational, well organized and carefully thought out. Highlights included a shopping and coking experience at a riad, a visit to a women's coop, and fascinating explorations of medinas in Fez and Marrakesh. Our guide, Nabil, was terrific--personable, intelligent, very informative, open, a great facilitator who helped bring out the best in all the participants.Only one suggestion for improvement: have the group fly from Fez to Marrakesh. The bus ride was too long and the overnight stay was superfluous.

This was a wonderful trip with an excellent guide, very good food and accomodations, an amiable group, good transportation and a rich blend of learning, exploring, cultural experiences and education. A bit pricey but worth it

This program exceeded my expectations. Not only did I learn extensively about Morocco, it helped me understand further the diversity of different Islamic countries. The food and accommodations surpassed my expectations, as did the content and quality of day trips. Our guide was exceptional. Having a lot of free time as well as not having to pack and unpack were real pluses. All in all, this was a memorable trip - our best yet with Road Scholar.

This is an educational tour. The attention to the visual experience that seduced Delacroix, Matisse, and Yves St. Laurent is minimal.

From the wonderful and knowledgable guides to the sights, sounds and tastes, this was a suburb tour. The small group and longer stays in cities in this flex plan made it easy to explore on my own in a less hurried tour.

This was a beautiful trip in an amazing country. The small of the group (only 8) was a plus, although I understand RS made an exception in order to launch this trip. The extended stays in Fes and Marrakesh were an added advantage over packing up and moving on every few days. The three guides--Nabil, Ahmed, and Aziz--were superb in every way, never tiring of answering unending questions and individual requests. It was clear they wanted us to understand and appreciate the country they love.

This was a very well-organized and executed program. Morocco is a fascinating country -unique among the other Moslem/North African countries with its moderate and tolerant king and people, its rich history and beautiful architecture and culture.

Moroocco was fascinating and this was a very good way to visit with a well organized and diverse educational and cultural program. The flexible format and staying in one hotel for several nights made it unhurried with a chance to branch out on your own. The logistics, meals and accommodations were all very good. But most of all the guides were well informed, enthusiastic and agreeable.

What a marvelous trip to a beautiful, welcoming country full of new experiences that overwhelm your senses in the best possible ways.
