My 12 year old granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this trip! The education, adventure, proximity to wildlife and friendliness of all concerned made it a most valuable experience. I agree with other reviewers that you need a certain level of fitness to manage each day safely, but the guides (Billy and Enrique) were there every moment for those with difficulties. Sea sickness was a problem for a few, but my granddaughter and managed well by taking a Bonine just twice. Holbrook Travel did a fantastic job of organizing everything from beginning to end. Luis, officially named our bartender on the Galavan, was wonderful as he pleasantly attended to ALL of our needs. As my first group travel experience, I must say this was a winner. Can't wait to take my other granddaughter on a similar Road Scholar Intergenerational trip.

Great program in every way. My grandson enjoyed it as much as I did. I would warn folks that you need a high degree of balance and agility for getting in and out of tenders. To participate in all the hiking and snorkeling takes good fitness. I think 13 and 14 are the perfect ages to get the most out of the trip but the things you see are so amazing that it's well worth the effort to go.

For anyone at all interested in biology, this is the trip of a lifetime. Everything about it was very interesting. The Group leaders were excellent and prepared us well for each day of the trip.

Be prepared for the ship to rock and roll. Almost all of us got seasick at least once during the trip. If prone to seasickness take medication starting several days in advance.
