The tour is just as it is described. It was well planned and it delivered. I would do it again!

This was an entirely satisfying, well-organized, and cost-effective taste of the best of Manhattan at this season. Everything promised in the description of the trip was delivered and delivered graciously. The hotel is centrally located, clean, and safe. Karl and Nancy guided us through pedestrians and mass transit at an accommodating pace and without losing anyone! Definitely recommend for anyone who has wanted to experience the famous highlights of the Christmas season in Manhattan, but who would be at a loss how to negotiate all this by yourself efficiently and without spending a fortune.

If you have ever considered seeing NY City at Christmas time this is the program for you. The Rockefeller Center tree was magnificent, the Radio City show spectacular, the sights and sounds of NY inviting and fascinating. Additionally we walked the streets of several Manhattan neighborhoods, ate in a couple of local restaurants with really good food, stayed at a well located and friendly hotel, used the subway for transport and experienced the generosity of many New Yorkers giving up their seats for those of us with gray hair. We also had time at two of the great NY Museums...the Metropoitsn and Natural History Museums, walked through a gorgeous part of Central Park with interesting commentary by our terrific group leader. All this for a very good price. Don't hesitate to sign up for this one!

The subtitle of this program is "A Festive Celebration", and that is an extremely accurate description. From interesting and informative lectures, to visits to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, the Cloisters, the Metropolitan Museum of Art (for the Neapolitan Nativity, Rockefeller Center (to see the Christmas tree), and 5th Avenue (to view the fantastic store windows), and attending outstanding productions of "The Messiah) and the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular, everything were wonderful. If you have never been to NYC during the Christmas season, this would be a ideal to see the city in all of ots glory. Even if you have been several times before, this program provides new insights and experiences. The hotel is ideally situated, the variety of meals included give you a taste of many cultures, and the tour leader was both knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs and desires of the group. All in all, this is an outstanding program.
