This program provided something for everyone. Many interests were covered: Flora, fauna, ocean, birds, wine tasting, theater, history, local culture and many more areas.

The Great Australian Train Trek is the most comprehensive tour of Australia you'll ever find. If you tried to do this on your own it would take much more time than the nearly four weeks this trip spanned. Not a relaxing vacation as you are up and out early nearly every day, but an educational experience second to none enabling you to see more than most Australians will ever see in their lifetimes. Bring your camera, hat, sunscreen, comfy shoes, and sense of adventure. This is a whirlwind ride not to be missed.

The Great Australian Train Trek was not a vacation, but a really really excellent adventure!

A wonderful, fast-paced experience. See more of Australia than most Aussies.

This trip provides a very comprehensive and intense experience of Australia. We saw a variety of locations....many parts of the country not seen by many native Australians. Good overall experience!!

My first RS program. Trip leaders and site coordinators were super and fully engaged! Very fast-paced active trip that covers Aussieland extensively and leaves you wanting more. Active ++. Not a trip for snoozers.

This program was one of the best that I have taken. You saw a great deal of the country while traveling on the train, bus, ferry, and planes. It was a very active program with activities well planned out. A lot of walking was required. Jim and the local leaders were excellent. They loved sharing their country with us. It did not seem like a job to them. We had great food and hotels, with just enough time on our own. The trip was well worth the time and expense.
