Yellowstone and Grand Teton Parks are places that should be on everyone's "bucket list". Unfortunately this trip as planned by the Teton Science School was full of logistical difficulties. The biggest problem was the hotels selected in Yellowstone were poorly located and resulted in much backtracking and wasted and unnecessary time riding in busses and required modify activities. The tour staff were energetic and made every effort to provide what was promised but the logistics failed them and the participants. This was my 6th trip with Road Scholar and it did not provide anywhere near the experience that I have come to expect.

Road Scholar's response:
Great news! We have recently changed the hotel locations in Yellowstone and believe that this will greatly improve the logistics of this program. We greatly appreciate your feedback!

This is a must for any first time visitor to Yellowstone who also likes and has the ability to hike. I do not beleive that we missed much. Geysers, mud pots, hot springs, fumeroles,Terraces, another "Grand Canyon", wildlife (bison, elk, picas, swans), history, beautiful scenery, wateralls..... Exhausting, empowering, life changing....

Excellent program that will test your physical abilities but with great guides and leaders

What a fantastic trip. This was my first Road Scholar Adventure. It will definitely not be my last. Based on my experience, I'm looking forward to my next trip. The accommodations were excellent. The hiking was magnificent. Our guides were knowledgeable and personable. One of the best vacations I've every had. I highly recommend this trip. The staff of the Grand Teton Science School were wonderful hosts.
