This trip is a good introduction to the Teton/Yellowstone ecosystem. The trails and sites visited are better than all the pictures I have seen of them.

Great hiking in spectacular country, with frendly and inspiring guides (who are also good drivers and planners, making it all as easy as possible even with lots of other tourists around).

This trip was amazing. The guides (Sylvia, Peggy, Luke) were so knowledgeable and in addition coordinated the logistics with competence. Not only that, they were delightful the entire trip! The Teton Science School in Jackson Wyoming which hosts the program is a marvel. All our needs were met and more. The facility is wonderful and the food is very high quality. A five star program for sure.

Loved this trip--incredible landscape and science--new mountains, geothermal wonders, wildlife, plants, incredible guides and companions. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on this trip. I think that this is a great way to experience a place like Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons for the first time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience hiking the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, learned a lot and made new friends along the way. Tanya and her staff did an excellent job of organizing the activities and adjusting/accommodating for a variety of hiking abilities and weather conditions. Peggy, Sylvia, and Luke, our exceptional guides, were enthusiastic about sharing their extensive knowledge about the flora, fauna, and geology of the magnificent Greater Yellowstone Ecology while ensuring that we could hear and that our creature comforts were met.

An excellent program with an excellent staff. The hiking and wildlife observation were first-rate. I have talked about this program and Road Scholar to a number of people because I enjoyed it so much.

This hiking trip surpassed our expectations. I would encourage anyone interested in an active exploration of Yellowstone and Grand Teton to sign up. The Teton Science School rocks!

This was my third Road Scholar trip and it was by far the best. It will become the gold standard by which I judge all future programs. I can not speak highly enough for the professionalism of the staff at the Tetons Science Center--from Tiffany Smith on down to Rachel, Lizzie and Amy and the two evening presenters. The accommodations were comfortable and well-managed and the food was very good. I had a simply wonderful time

Signing up for this trip was one of my best ideas! The trip was well-organized, wonderfully executed. Teton Science School was a perfect base, away from the busy-ness of the Jackson resorts. Our host and guides were enthusiastic and professional, sharing their passion for the region with expertise and humor. It was a week filled with stunning landscapes and heartfelt laughter - a vacation for the eyes, heart, soul. Hiking options were offered in Tetons and Yellowstone that matched group-member abilities, and no matter the choice the trails were varied and gorgeous.

I highly recommend this tour! The program is very well organized and administered. The Teton Science School is a delightful base for the tour (great food, beautiful location, restful rooms). The tour guides were quite knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area. The small group lends itself to getting to know tour participants quite well. Hiking and driving in both the Tetons and Yellowstone cannot be matched for beautiful scenery, interesting flora and fauna and wonderful history.
