I really enjoyed this program, and learned the skills and confidence I need to continue kayaking and canoeing. Our group leaders were truly wonderful, helpful and inspiring, the park area is beautiful and peaceful, and our group was supportive and friendly- a great orientation for me to connect deeper with nature and learn something new.

We had a great time. The area was beautiful and we felt encouraged in improving our skills canoeing and kayaking. We learned a great deal and enjoyed our swamp experience.

It was only due to the invitation by a friend that I decided to go on this trip. I was so glad I did. The experience was terrific. I learned so much, had fun, and met new people who inspired me. The location was beautiful and the leaders were experts in their field. I want to expand on the skills I gained as soon as I can.

Do not let the words swamp turn you off to this trip it was a great surprise to me. Look up the difference for swamp and bog.

We have been canoeing on a variety of rivers in the mid-west and this is our 2nd Road Scholar canoe vacation. Land for Learning organized a great 3 days even for the more experienced. It was exciting to see that so many came make a decision about canoeing or kayaking for their continued recreation. This evening I opened my bucket list and saw a list of the top 25 state parks from Midwest Living-the Cache River is on their list and I have wrote another one off my list. We highly also recommend Trees for Tomorrow in Eagle River WI as that was our first Road Scholar Canoe Trip. Rose Mary and Dean Milwaukee WI

I just participated in my second Road Scholar adventure and I have an upcoming third trip in less than a week. The Road Scholar trips are what is promoted and so much more. Each trip invigorates me, whets my interests, provides me with great physical challenges and inspires me to search for my next adventure. Great job, Road Scholar! Carolyn from Missouri
