ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Great program for a New Year's Eve/Day short vacation. Symphony was great, Heard Museum amazing, Botanical Garden incredible. Interesting topics for lectures, and good speakers.

I could not choose a single highlight of this trip as there were so many. Visiting Taliesan West and seeing the Sonoran Desert up close and personal was an amazing experience. Ringing in the New Year with the Phoenix Symphony was a perfect way to usher in 2013. The Cactus Botanical Garden, Pueblo Grande and the museums brought new enlightenment and understanding of the Phoenix area. The speakers were wonderful and greatly enhanced the entire program. I would do this program again !

The chance to visit the metropolitan Phoenix area was offered with this program. The fact that it was also the new year was just a bonus! Not only did our visit to the Heard and Art Museums peak our interest and encourage discussions about the art we viewed, we also had a guided tour of the Desert Botanical Gardens and were offered samples of a delicious new treat, Prickly Pear Cactus! Everyone seemed to enjoy exploring the Scottsdale area, shopping and visiting the Art Galleries. The hotel was very nice with a friendly and accommodating staff. Their chef provided a good variety of menu items. Restaurants selected were delicious and included a picnic in the park which was a fun surprise. The Symphony, in my opinion, was the highlight of this experience. The only changes I would make to this program would be to separate the group of 51 into 2 smaller groups.
