I attended the RRTI program for the second year in a row. It was set up for the best possible fishing experience accounting for each person's background. We skipped those segments of the program that we had attended last year and had the latitude to fish the Gallatin across from Buck's T$. For several days, guides were provided to help and tutor participants. The lodge and food were excellent. Every effort was made to make each person feel welcome and comfortable. Phil and I are disappointed to find the program will not be offered next year as we are giving a presentation to our fly fishing club in Cincinnati about our RRTI experiences, hoping to entice more of our fishing friends to go to Montana in the future. The coordinators did an excellent job.

Road Scholar's response:
Gary, thank you for sharing your positive experience with us! Although we will not be running this program in 2016, we are still happy to accommodate private groups for this program. We would be happy to work with you and run this program for your fly fishing club, as a group departure. Please feel free to contact groups@roadscholar.org for additional information.

I attended the 2014 and the 2015 program and enjoyed it both times. The coordinators did a wonderful job of organizing it from start to finish.

If you have any interest in fishing beautiful mountain streams and seeing Yellowstone National Park in a way you never knew before, this is the program for you.

This is a great program for a reasonably experienced fly fisher/caster who is also interested in natural history, geography and geology. I had a wonderful week catching (and releasing) western trout and learning about YNP and the greater Yellowstone region.
