See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

George from Latrobe, PA Number of programs attended: Our First (not our last) Date attended: 9/9/12-9/14/12 Our initial Road Scholar program exceeded our expectations. Kathy and Rudy were excellent hosts. The programs, food, and music were outstanding. The views of the Bay of Fundy were awe inspiring. At ages 65 and 62 we were the 'youngest' participants--many were in their eighties--but the other participants were actually the best part of the program. We were amazed by the life stories of many of our fellow participants. There is a good reason why many social historians call them the 'Greatest Generation'.

Evelyn from Easthampton, MA Number of programs attended: 22
Date attended: 09/09/12 - 09/14/12
This is a super program in every respect. Leaders, Kathy & Rudy know their subjects and present them well. They are warm, welcoming people, who do everything possible to ensure that participants' needs are met. All lectures are well presented and informative; evening musical entertainment is superb, and the food is top-notch!

Jerry from Ithaca, NY Number of programs attended: 6
Date attended: 09/09/12 - 09/14/12
This program exceeded our expectations. One of us rides a mobility scooter and was able to participate in over 95% of the activities. Jerry & Martha C.

Patricia from Pacific Grove, CA Number of programs attended: 3
Date attended: 09/05/10 - 09/10/10
We enjoyed this experience. The scenery was fantastic, the company very nice and the food excellent. The accomidation were very good, great views of the Bay of Fundy, enjoyed the hikes and exploring the seaside. The staff was more than accommodating, we were exposed to many flavors we knew nothing about and enjoyed!

Sandra from Seffner, FL Number of programs attended: 1
Date attended: 09/25/11 - 09/30/11
We felt the following things were good :
1. The entertainment was excellent.
2. Accommodations were good.
3. The "one" field trip was very good.
4. Lectures by outside guests were very good.
5. The staff was accommodating and friendly.

Things we felt could be improved upon:
1. There was no choice, at all, in the menu.
2. Internet service was poor at best. Advertised as " free internet".
3. More field trips to nearby historic towns and sights should have been included, especially to St. John.
4. For participants flying into St. John, accurate information about transportation to the B& B needs to be provided.

Edna from Oakland, CA Number of programs attended: 5
Date attended: 09/04/11 - 09/09/11
If you are looking for a shorter and "off the beaten path" experience, this one is for you. Kathy, the Trip Leader, and her staff at the Tital Watch Inn went out of their way to insure everyone had an enjoyable and educational experience. The music groups were excellent and talked about their music as well as playing it. Bring loose clothes - the food is so good you will need them! If you are a single traveler, don't hesitate to sign up for this trip; everyone will make you feel welcome and included.
