I had an enjoyable week singing with old friends (it's like a family reunion!) and meeting new ones. The music was beautiful, and it was thrilling to perform it in the Old State House in the very chamber where Abraham Lincoln lay in state. Meals and accommodations were first-rate, and Sue Hamilton is an excellent and very personable director. If you like to sing and are interested in Lincoln, this program is for you!

This choral workshop is located in the heart of Lincoln-land which provides many interesting places to visit during our "free" time. The selection of music is of the highest quality and varied.

If you like to sing, would like to have a great time with friendly fellow choristers, and would enjoy seeing interesting sights, you won't want to miss this program. Also, if Springfield is on your bucket list, and it should be if you don't already know it, then you have another reason to visit the city of Abraham Lincoln. My husband and I were there for the third time. Ann Kramer, our coordinator and Sue Hamilton, our director, are outstanding in every way, and it is a pleasure to stay at the President Abraham Lincoln Hotel, which is in walking distance to most of the attractions. For us the week is almost like a family reunion because we've been singing with many of these singers at one place or another for years, but newcomers are always warmly welcomed. Already we look forward to July 2015.
