Great program with beautiful low-desert surroundings. Good food, good guides--safety was never a concern. A little lite on the educational content. Would recommend to others

This was a most enjoyable trip. In the midst of the beauty of nature - the majesty of the canyon - the excitement of the rapids intermittent with the serenity of the expansive waters and the wonderful fresh air. It was a happy friendly group, the leaders were knowledgeable and wise and they cooked delicious food.

Maurica from Bridgeport, CA Number of programs attended: 23
Date attended: 09/09/15 - 09/14/15
Just as wonderful as last year! Lower water level, but same great animal life, experienced and fun guides, amazing food, and exhilarating (but optional) kayaking.

Wonderful trip! Expert guides who were obviously enjoying the trip too, great food mostly made from scratch. Osprey, bald eagle, big horn sheep, and a lovely river. Everyone got to ride, paddle boat, or kayak as they chose. We laughed a whole lot, too.

Bethe from Albuquerque, NM Number of programs attended: 5
Date attended: 09/14/14 - 09/19/14
I loved it! Didn't think I could learn to run Class 3 rapids and I did... Bring a comfy sleeping pad as the sand is hard, but everything about this trip was fabulous and I successfully challenged myself beyond my expectations.

Kay from Hot Springs, AR Number of programs attended: 7
Date attended: 08/18/14 - 08/23/14
My first experience in wilderness camping & kayaking! Great time. Great leadership! Kay, Hot Springs, AR

The availability of one person inflatable kayaks adds any extra thrill in going over the rapids.
